Turned on Charlie Rose today during lunch, but the discussion of the economy was so dire I turned it off. When I jumped back online and checked my email, I discovered a new email blast from Center for the Book in San Francisco detailing a new workshop they are offering in Paper Marbling... how delightful! Just the thing to take us back in time to the days when books were works of art in themselves... marbled inner sheets, leather embossed bindings... ah... yes. Just the place to go immerse oneself in the world of art and forget the tangled economic web that surrounds us.
